Preparation Instructions:
This original sweet Dr. Pepper barbecued steak marinade recipe was given to me by a friend, and I have to say it now one of my favorites. If you haven't already tried it, give it a shot. To begin you will first need to take out a medium size mixing bowl. Moving forward, next add into the bowl the Dr. Pepper soft drink, minced garlic, hot sauce, extra virgin olive oil, dark soy sauce, onion powder, garlic powder, minced Vidalia onion, coarse ground black pepper, and lemon juice. Using a metal whisk or a mixing spoon, quickly whip the ingredients together until they form an even and consistent marinade sauce. Once your Dr. Pepper steak marinade is mixed, it is ready for immediate use. It can be used with beef steak, venison steak, seafood steak, pork steak, buffalo steak, or even poultry. For beef or venison marinate for eight hours, for pork marinade for four hours, and for seafood and poultry marinate for two hours. That concludes this sweet and delicious marinade recipe. The recipe is very flexible, so feel free to play around with the ingredients.
