Preparation Instructions:
I would like give credit to Tori of Hazen North Dakota for submitting this wonderful Chinese barbecued pork recipe. Definitely be sure to try this one out if you can. To begin, please take out a small saucepan, and then add in the dark soy sauce, honey, white sugar, Taylor Family dry sherry, table salt, Chinese five spice, and crushed ginger. Heat these ingredients over medium heat, stirring constantly until all of the sugar has dissolved, and the sauce becomes thick and even. Once you are done there, set the sauce aside to cool down. Next take out a large sealable freezer bag, and then add in the lean boneless pork slices and the marinade sauce that you just made. Seal the bag shut, then place it in the refrigerator to marinate for five to twelve hours. Once your pork has marinated, take it out of the freezer bag and set it on a wrack set over the top of an aluminum foil lined baking pan. Don't discard the marinade sauce. You are now ready to bake your pork at 350 degrees Fahrenheit or 175 degrees Celsius, for half an hour. Once that time has elapsed, turn over the pork at let it cook for another forty five minutes, or until it is no longer pink on the inside. Throughout the baking process, brush the sauce on to the pork to make sure it's moist and flavorful. Once the Chinese barbecued pork is done, cut it into thin slices and serve it either hot or cold. We hope you have enjoyed this great recipe.
