Preparation Instructions:
To begin this recipe you will first need to take out a small mixing bowl. Next add into the bowl the whole egg, seasoned bread crumbs, ground black pepper, and garlic powder. Next crumble the lean ground beef into the bowl, and then thoroughly mix all of the contents together until you have an even distribution of ingredients. Next shape the mixture into two large beef patties, then dredge them into two tablespoons of all purpose flour. Next take out a cooking skillet, and heat the beef patties over medium heat in the olive oil. Once the beef patties are brown on each side, take them off the burner and set them aside. Next add in the remaining all purpose flour to the skillet, along with the bottled water. Whisk these ingredients together until they form a smooth batter. Next stir in the cranberry catsup, Worcestershire Sauce, and beef bouillon granules. Again mix these ingredients until they form an even sauce. You are now ready to add in the chopped onion and mushrooms. Bring all of these contents along with the beef patties to a boil over medium high heat, cover the skillet, then let the beef simmer in the sauce on medium low heat for about fifteen minutes, or until the inside of the beef patties are no longer pink. Serve the patties hot, with the gravy mixture poured over the top of the beef patties.
