Preparation Instructions:
Creating this dry barbecued pork steak rub is very simple. First take out a small sealable mixing bowl. Next add into the bowl the smoked paprika, ground cumin, cracked black pepper, chili powder, onion powder, sea salt, dark brown sugar, garlic powder, and chile powder. Once all of these delicious herbs and seasonings are in the bowl, place a tightly sealed lid over it, then vigorously shake the bowl until the steak rub is thoroughly mixed together. Before you apply the rub to your pork steaks, brush your steaks with the extra virgin olive oil, making sure you get an even coating on both sides. Next generously rub the seasoning mix on to the meat using your hands. Without the olive oil, the steak rub will not stick to the meat.
