A friend of mine named Francoise from Fruitvale Canada emailed me this off the beaten path barbecued pork chops recipe, and I have to say it was absolutely amazing. To get the recipe rolling you should first preheat your oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit, or 165 degrees Celsius. Next take out a large cooking skillet, and then heat your extra virgin olive oil over medium high heat. Next add in the pork chops, and cook them until they are evenly browned on all sides. While your pork chops are cooking, take out a medium size mixing bowl, and then add in the apple horseradish catsup, white wine vinegar, fresh ground nutmeg, table salt, celery seed, bottled water, and bay leaf. Whisk these ingredients together until you have an even sauce. Next place your browned pork chops into a baking dish, and then pour the sauce over the top of them. With regard to the apple horseradish catsup, you can buy this online at Amazon, and it is highly recommended for this recipe. Moving along, next slide your pork chops into the oven to bake for ninety full minutes, turning the pork chops over once during this period. If you find that meat looks dry at all during the cooking process, simply add in more catsup. That's it for this particular recipe.
